About Yaadon Ki Baaraat with Amit Dhamelia and Band
The Siglap South CC IAEC presents Amit Dhamelia and his live band in "Yaadon ki Baaraat". It is going to be a nostalgic journey with ever green Bollywood melodies and foot tapping folk songs. Event Programme: 7.00pm to 8.15pm - First Segment 8.15pm to 8.45pm - Interval 8.45pm to 10.00pm - Second Segment We witnessed Amit and his band during Holi Hai 2016 at the Esplanade Waterfront. It was a mesmerizing performance that left the audience wanting more. Be sure to not miss this opportunity to experience them LIVE. For the uninitiated, Yaadon Ki Baaraat is a famous Bollywood film from the 1970s. Its remembered for the evergreen soundtrack by R.D. Burman. The title track is very popular with the Malay community here. Also, this film was the debut film of Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan! He is the toddler in the song sequence.
